Endless Centennial: Tribute to Gustavo Bueno : Editorial

Abstract

With this second volume dedicated to the figure of Gustavo Bueno on the centenary of his birth, we provisionally conclude the tribute that began in 2024. Pedro de Silva threw the stone from his usual vantage point on the front page of the newspaper La Nueva España, a druid in a forest of words, which Pablo Huerga Melcón reached in mid-flight (kairos). From the stone, he built the Conference in Homage to Gustavo Bueno on the Centenary of his Birth (November 2024) from the Department of Philosophy at the University of Oviedo. One of the echoes of that meeting was the first volume of the monograph dedicated to Bueno, published by this publisher and coordinated by Huerga Melcón. It mainly contained the voluntary contributions of those who participated in the conference, more or less reworked, as appropriate, the discussions and some later contributions.
