Abstract
The meaning of life is a topic in philosophy. This work tries to offer an answer about what can be understood by the «sports meaning of life». To do this, we resort to the philosophy of José Ortega y Gasset and his commentators, but also Gustavo Bueno. Each part of the expression is discussed, just to then directly face the guiding question of our research: «Is it worth dedicating your life to extreme sports?» It is concluded that answering this question requires establishing an extra-subjective value criterion, which is not an easy task.
