Abstract

The study of ideology has tried to socially study a series of concepts and ideas with a perspective that addressed the conflict between social classes, but has, over time, deepened in the nuances of said conflict with the technological revolution and globalization, unavoidable for the present. This article attempts to analyze the ideology from the central postulates of Marxism in relation to the mass media understood in its conservative element of the dominant ideology of the neoliberal system insofar as it uses its messages and the capital with which it finances the means to perpetrate the superstructure, since it is inserted in a society that experiences the spectacle as a farce.
