Abstract
This article focuses solely on the controversy surrounding cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad and the exhibition about the Holocaust and the State of Israel. It highlights the difference between fundamentalism and poor taste, including censorship in democratic countries. From a theological perspective, fundamentalist positions presuppose the belief that an individual interprets God's will.
