Resumen
El texto defiende la necesidad de repensar filosóficamente el trauma, considerando que muchos estudios actuales presentan importantes limitaciones científicas. En primer lugar, se critica la tendencia a analizar el trauma únicamente desde la psicología, excluyendo otras áreas del conocimiento que podrían ofrecer respuestas más completas acerca de la relación entre la condición metafísico-antropológica de la persona humana y el trauma. Además, se pone de relieve la frecuente confusión entre el trauma y ciertos afectos, aunque ambos puedan estar relacionados. El autor también subraya que el trauma rara vez se evalúa desde un punto de vista ético.
Para superar estas limitaciones, se propone un enfoque filosófico más realista. El estudio comienza con el análisis del mapa del mundo personal, poniéndolo en relación con la vocación y la autorrealización humana. A continuación, se examinan el origen y las especificidades del trauma, así como sus efectos negativos tanto sobre la autorrealización de la persona como sobre la sociedad. Por último, se investigan las posibilidades de integración y superación del trauma, además de su evaluación moral.
