Abstract
A disciple of Althusser, Badiou knows and travels since the fifties the work of Jacques Lacan, who will be present on all his journeys, as will Deleuze with whom he had a strange relationship. Novelist, playwright, poet, his mathematical ontology places him in a materialistic, radical and «left» Platonism.
