Abstract
This article seeks to highlight the importance of empathy in school, since this not only implies an individual self but the relationship I have with other selves and how I allow myself to be questioned by them, so that it is necessary to study the relationship of the empathy raised by Edith Stein and its foundation for training processes. For this, it is imperative to analyze empathy from the Steinian conception of it, then the body will be related as apprehension of other people’s experiences and the importance of intersubjectivity in the school environment. It should be noted that this article was born as a product of the doctoral thesis called Empathy as an invariant for the formation of the Interinstitutional Doctorate in Education of the National Pedagogical University.
