Abstract
This paper aims to show some central determinations of the phenomenology of history by means of a demonstration tool, or a case study, pertaining to the art theory field. Concretely, I’m interested in developing an analysis -although partial- about a moment of occidental art history that show’s the analytic possibilities of transcendental phenomenology in the concrete historical life. The guide for this analysis is the main husserlian discovery in the field of the philosophy of history, as exposed in the «Origin of Geometry». Thus, the main goal of this work is to make visible the advantages that phenomenology provides to the building and founding of a philosophy of history and culture.
