Spinoza and Nietzsche. The limit marked by affections and the will to power

Abstract

In this article we intend to think about our time and our luck, that is, Modernity, from two of the greatest thinkers of our time: Spinoza and Nietzsche. In this sense, the thesis of the will to power is presented as the best formulation to think about the metaphysics of Modernity and, on the other hand, the thought of the limit marked by the affections as a possibility to think about oneself and the totality.
