El proceso de alegorización en Walter Benjamín: límites y potencialidades

Abstract

In   this   paper   we   propose   to   problematize   the

conceptualization   and   development   that   takes   Walter

Benjamin   allegory   or   allegoresis   understood   as   aesthetic

resource  used  in  different  ways  in  different  historical  times,

and   if   the   author   mentioned   is   intended   not   only   as   a

resource  but  as  a  philosophical  aesthetic  appeal.

In  the  first  instance,  we  will  emphasize  the  events

that  had  the  Trauerspiel   opposite  the  old  concept  of  tragedy

and   theoretical   confusion   that   arose   during   the   German

Classicism   and   Romanticism.   Subsequently   tematizaremos

two  specific  moments:  the  process  of  allegory  that  Benjamin

detected   during   the   Thirty   Years   War   on   the   German

Trauerspiel   epicenter,   and   allegory   that   the   author   raises   in

the  poems  of  Charles  Baudelaire  in  Paris  in  the  century  XIX.

The   philosophical   problem   is   to   analyze   how

mean   objects   in   the   process   of   allegory   that   Benjamin

develops   throughout   his   works,   and   to   what   extent   can

stand  as  allegory  art  to  philosophy  and  the  obstacles  that  are

presented   this   crossroads.   To   accomplish   that   task   we   will

work   with   some   issues   of   his   last   great   work:   The   Arcades

Project.
