Abstract
This article takes as a starting point the distinction that condenses the Husserlian conception of History in the Krisis, namely the formation of meaning and sedimentation. Understanding the first as a phenomenological field, and the second as a symbolic institution, he detects the hiatus that separes them like that highlights the problematic character of the History. This becomes highly problematic before the possibility of a phenomenological reflection, not teleological, but aesthetic, of the senses by themselves. Richirian reflection will stop at the conversion of phenomenological reflection into teleological reflection. And, finally, we understand why the original mismatch between the present and the phases of presence does not make the present a historical present (as in the case of mythical thought). The birth of History is identified with the experience of the sublime as a relationship with death or the bringing into play of the symbolic order.![Creative Commons License](http://i.creativecommons.org/l/by-nc-nd/4.0/88x31.png)
