Abstract

We make a turn from the Lacan of his psychiatric beginnings, in 1927, to the Lacan of «Function and field of the word», where it is considered that he began his teaching in 1953. We will follow his adventures to collect his first influences (Gaëtan de Clérambault, Jaspers and, not long ago, Freud). Starting in 1936, with his writing «Beyond the Reality Principle» Lacan's imaginary period began where he incorporated phenomenology and Freudian psychoanalysis. Finally, the incorporation of Freud, and Heidegger's conception of language. It will be in 1953, with «Function and field of the word» where his great entry into the symbolic begins, giving rise to his notion of the signifier and finally breaking with phenomenology and with Jaspers, and completely integrating Freud. From very early on he incorporated the influence of Hegel and the famous Kojève weekly (concept of negativity). However, the conception of temporality in Lacan is not developed as is the case of Richir and to a certain extent Laplanche, who go in the direction of a phenomenological unconscious, which goes beyond the symbolic unconscious, thus enriching psychoanalysis with the experience of temporalization and spatialization typical of phenomenology. This could have repercussions on psychoanalytic practice.
