Abstract
One can take advantage of the burgeoning moment of our computer technology to carry out a committed meditation on what is considered about life and the role of humans in relation to it, pointing to our particular evolutionary tool, intelligence. From there, it is possible that our thirst for exploration and discovery has enabled the imagination of a world, both utopian and dystopian, in which our artifices could become, either the remedy to all our problems, or the (perhaps) irremediable problem. With an ethical disposition looking towards the Aristotelian mean (understood as balance), the author aims to outline, in an introductory and schematic manner, some issues that the doctrine of AI seems to overlook, whether intentionally or not, in its project of manufacturing intelligence.
