Abstract

To this day, and the first edition of the book we are discussing has already been sold out, none of its readers, nor critics, whether publicly or privately, that we know of, has highlighted, as it deserves, its dedication to Gustavo Bueno. And yet, the text we are discussing is defined not only as «theory of phenomenological levels», which is «inscribed, rather, in the coordinates of a renewed, non-standard phenomenology» (prologue, page 14), but also as «phenomenological materialism», but a materialism that is rooted in «philosophical materialism», the philosophical system built by Gustavo Bueno and his disciples, the first of whom was Ricardo Sánchez Ortiz de Urbina, and that, according to the dedication that we highlighted at the beginning of this comment, it seems to continue to be so.
