Abstract
The idea of this paper is to make a brief analysis of how different forms of injustices are shaped by language and always directed by social identity. I will start from the social ontology defended by Haslanger to examine what role language assumes as a cultural technique and concrete practice in the consummation of injustices, trying to answer the following questions: how does language intervene in social ontology, that is, in the construction of social entities? are the terms that refer to social types descriptive or normative? how is the use of language linked to the strengthening and constitution of ideologies? The aim is to bring out to what extent certain conditions for agency are blocked or predetermined by cultural or structural elements and to examine to what extent considering it through this scheme can offer at least some avenues of action that, starting by pointing out the problem, can lead to some critical responses.
