The stupid annecdotary of the film makers

Abstract

I borrow the title of the article from the book The Stupid Annecdotary of Philosophers, by Jean-Jacques Barrère and Christian Roche. «Stupid» obviously refers to «stupidity», and, in the opinion of these authors, philosophers often have a face, a certainly stupid facet. Completely agree. Stupidity is also found, of course, widely represented in the world of cinema. Actors, actresses, critics, directors, screenwriters, producers... all of them have uttered or even written, not infrequently, truly stupid things. What better proof than a hodgepodge of phrases representative of so much incompetence? That is precisely what the reader will find in the following lines.
