Abstract

Retinitis Pigmentosa is a set of ocular diseases. Its diagnostic is degenerative and in many cases hereditary. The family from the genetic point of view is the nuclear group in order to make a sociological study. There are few solutions and solutions are imprecise, too. Genetic studies are needed to find solutions in the future, but nowadays, people who are affected can’t see those solutions. The questions are: Why does affected people do the genetic studies? What institutions are involved in this process? Which are the strengths and weaknesses of genetic studies?
