Abstract

Although Population Genetics is a discipline that has been accused of «racist», this paper shows that many geneticists like L. L. Cavalli‐Sforza projects that will arise in the opposite direction. The Human Genome Project does not show that the human species is separated into races, much less that of genetic data may derive political plans. In contrast, the only thing you can blame the sociology of knowledge in population genetics is that its success has reduced funding for other projects not less interesting.
