Abstract

Since it was officially launched in October 1990, the Human Genome Project has been the subject of much news. Recovering them, the question about the predominant conception of him among the «average citizenry» has its answer. Since the written press is one of the fundamental means of access to scientific knowledge for the «average citizen», reconstructing the follow-up that it has devoted to it will suffice to determine what the Human Genome Project is for the «average citizen».
