Abstract
As individuality is being reshaped as a result of reading and writing generalization, digital construction of identities, and the effects of algorithms which produce a reduced image of the world, moral development of individuals and communities are being affected. In the framework of this paper, it is understood that contemporary conceptions about subjectivity refer back to a comprehension of the subject, language and being which differs from the way our culture actually functions, although such comprehension is in fact a bait that makes the system possible. This paper aims to contribute some reading strategies that present the conception of the sign and the speech associated with the «care of oneself» practices which departs from how subjectivity is traditionally assimilated by modern times.
