Abstract
The dialogue presented here flows through Seville and Ortega y Gasset’s thought. It deals with topographic reason, cosmopolitanism and Don Juan, object of a philosophical reflection that imitates the methods of two ancient schools: the Socratic dialogue and the Peripatetic walk. Starting from María Luisa Park, the conversation travels through the old city to the Macarena District, follows the Guadalquivir course, stops at Casa Robles, and ends in front of the Maestranza Bullring. Ultimately, we put into perspective some meditations masterfully written by Ortega and follow the thread. In this way we update two fundamental Orteguian thesis: the conception of life as a dialogue with the environment and the dramatic condition of thinking.
