Abstract

The main objective of this article is the analysis of what a large part of the philosophical currents of the last two centuries have called «technique». With this analysis we intend to investigate both the benefits or harms of the technique in society and, above all, the possibility of safeguarding humaneness in a world apparently directed by it. With this motive, we will make use of the three authors who, in our own opinion, have managed to patent the effects that the technique has on the way of being of the human being in a clear and original way: Husserl, Heidegger and Ortega y Gasset.
