Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present a synthesis of phenomenological thought Augusto Salazar Bondy confined mainly to his work Idealidad e Irrealidad (1958), alongside the reviews that were made to the text by the lecturers Dr Rosemary Rizo-Patrón and David Sobrevilla. To this goal, we have divided our work into four sections, the first is an historical introduction to Salazar, as a phenomenologist in which we discuss some aspects of his intellectual biography that are linked to phenomenology, from the defense of his doctoral thesis in 1953 until the last phenomenological trace exposed in his 1971 theory of value; the second is a summary of Idealidad e Irrealidad with which we intend to inform the reader about Salazar's position towards Husserl's approaches that are mentioned in his research about the ontology of the real and the ideal; the third section is a list of the reviews of the text by the authors mentioned above; finally, a conclusion based on the personal recognition of the figure of Salazar Bondy as a diffuser of the Husserl's thought in San Marcos of the fifties what tells about his teaching work as a legitimate example of his condition of «functionary of humanity».
