Quelques réflexions sur le fourvoiement présomptueux chez Binswanger comme forme manquée de la présence

Abstract

This article attempts to describe one of the missing forms of presence in Binswanger'ʹs analysis, namely, that of grandiosity(Verstiegenheit). To this end, we begin by showing what Daseinsanalyse is, in order then to introduce more general considerations about movements of signification (Bedeutungsrichtungen), and the three missing forms of presence that Binswanger distinguishes. We then elucidate what is distinctive about grandiosity (Verstiegenheit), with the aid of reference tothe character of Solness from Ibsen'ʹs play,The Master Builder.Finally, we conclude by showing what is characteristic of the phenomenological epoché in contrast to all forms of pyschopathological epoché, and against certain dangerous tendencies to bring the two together.
