Abstract
Enzo Paci’s research can be understood from
some central concepts found in his studies
through the different stages of his thought;
these concepts are the ideas of existence, time
and the negative. The aim of this paper is to
focus on the second notion, which represents a
real topic center for Paci’s research from his
thesis on the Plato’s Parmenides to his last
texts devoted to Husserl. Clarify the meaning
of the immanent temporality of the subject
which lives in the world in close relation to the
other will be the way that will guide Enzo Paci
to a reformulation of the complex involvement
between man, science and history.
