Abstract
In this paper the author studies the meaning of
subject in Paci’s phenomenology. Such
analysis belies the argument that the subject is
an abstract subject, rather, it is a finite subject,
with a body made of flesh. This is a subject set
throughout history. Therefore, the subject
conceived by Paci is immersed in the world of
life –Lebenswelt–, and it’s a subject in human
relations. Consequently, philosophy, seen from
Enzo Paci’s point of view, must be understood
as a work where the subject is in a constant
relationship with the other. This thesis allows
us to talk, as well, about a subject immersed in
the world with close proximity to things.
