Abstract
Different
theories
surrounding
in
the
philosophy´s literature of mind on the
consciousness bring us closer to the
understanding of this mental phenomenon
from positions or phyisicalists or naturalists,
and in the worst cases from eliminativists
positions. However, consciousness remains an
enigma for those who want to understand its
nature and give an account of this state of mind
and its incidence in a large part of our actions.
These theories include Searle emergentism,
which contributes to the understanding of the
nature of consciousness from neurophysiology
contributions, and it could be said that despite
extensive research that have been carried out
on the theme, Searle theory is one of the few
theories that can explain the nature of
consciousness from the biological emergence
without falling into reductionism.
