Abstract

The recent news that Paris was under attack
not only shocked the world, but posed ISIS on
the agenda of international relations specialists.
This event resulted in 137 fatal victims and
400 wounded persons. What makes this event
a real disaster seems not to be the effects, but
the higher likelihood it repeats in a near future.
Over recent years, ISIs and its leaders declared
the war against Occident anticipating the next
blows in centres of leisure, tourism and mass
consumption. Doubteless, tourists are targeted
by these cells because of their vulnerability.
They, as foreigners, not only are not familiar
with the visited soil, but are more vulnerable
than other actors. However, this is not the
reason why tourists are killed by jihadist. In
this philosophical essay review, we unravel the
complexity of terrorism discussing to what
extent the war on terror will be a complete
failure. In the same way, we hola the thesis
that tourism is terrorism by other jeans.
Terrorism in fact that is constructed under the
logic of rationality works as a mirror for
capital-owners.
