Abstract

In the texts published before the end of the 80s, the term "desymbolisation" is almost impossible to find. Nevertheless, a careful reading makes it possible to highlight in many authors of the 20th century the idea of a loosening between the languages and the realities that actually corresponds to the failure of the symbolization as the romantics of Iena have conceived it (See first part of this thesis). The third chapter of the second part of " The Desymbolisation in the contemporary culture" explores texts by Baudrillard, H. Levebvre, J. Ladrière, R. Bastide, J. J Goux H. and G. Lipovetsky, where the idea of a tendency to desymbolisation appears clearly even if the term is not used. Particular attention is paid to the concept of "formesigne" as Baudrillard designed it. It is the reduction of meaning to a narrow signification and at the same time the collapse of an authentic reference. It is therefore a pseudo-reference that instead of opening on a radical no language is no more than an effect of the structure of the sign.
