Lorenzen y Habermas: La des-universalización de la razón

Abstract

This essay contains the proposal for an approach to the contemporary philosophical perspectives of Paul Lorenzen and Jürgen Habermas taking as a point of departure the question of practical reason, its determinations and developments, at expense of its establishment and traditional developments. This work result in a view of the contemporary approaches to “reason” in these influential philosophes, setting the tone for future researches about themes that return, over and over again: the situated character of reason, the relation of theory and praxis with mediation of the reason, the future of relationships in the framework of the social construct, and finally the possibility of thinking, in the context of an alleged "post-metaphysical" thinking, a reason no longer instrumented by the needs of the forces of the global economy and politics.
