Abstract
The «living together» has become a concept in itself, regularly claimed by public authorities or institutions as a societal ideal. First of all, this demand can appear as being pacifist and kind, but after a short analysis of this ready-made concept, we easily notice its vacuity and vanity. We will begin with a decoding of what this new notion implies and we will ask if there possibly is an appropriate definition. Then, we will enlighten the paradox, that seems to emerge from this disembodied and decontextualized injunction. At the end, we will deal with the deeper resonances of this concept, from an individual point of view, following Winnicott’s advices saying that the roots of a relation are always necessary to be examined regarding every human relationship.
