Abstract
In the following pages the reader will find the arguments and
references that show that in the comparison of the thought of Carl
Schmitt and Hans Blumenberg exists not only contrast but also a
strong philosophical complicity, since the schmittian couple
friend-enemy is often assumed in the blumenberguian work as
anthropological category. If we go deeper in the analysis of this
heritage, we find that their thoughts converge in the time that both
call attention to the need to recognize both harmony and conflict
that shape the reality in which we are immersed.
