Abstract
This text examines structuralism as an analytical method for understanding the order of knowledge, drawing on the work of Michel Foucault and its relationship with the epistemology of the period. According to this analysis, structuralism offers an analytical method which, however, is not an end in itself. Rather, through the study of the order of language, it necessarily leads to a political proposal.
