Abstract
We work on the idea of «meme» that arises from the work of Richard Dawkins and that, in our view, suffers from a structural error in the hands of a number of authors who try to take the meme out of its environment. They forget the time in which it is born and for which it is born. In this way, we intend to place it in what we have called «viral order», referring to the temporality segregated by the digital age, in opposition to those segregated by the oral, alphabetic and electric eras
