Abstract
This brief essay aims to contextualize and map the presence of phenomenology in Bra-zil, indicating the main themes and authors studied, researchers devoted to it and their interre-lationships through Graduate Programs (PPG), Research Groups and societies and associa-tions. To this end, we use the search in the directories of research groups, on the PPG’s web-sites and in the scientific periodic repositories, theses and dissertations. We highlight the fe-cundity of phenomenological research in Brazil, either by the growing number of researchers involved, or in the diversity of themes and scopes of application and the subtle articulation with the Latin American phenomenological philosophy of castilian language.
