Abstract

Giovanni Piana's work has also been interested in literature. The reason is due to the fact that, among the acts of experience, the aesthetic perception has a specific nature that phe-nomenological philosophy wants to clarify. On the other hand, the passion of this author for music is well known, to which he has dedicated a book of philosophy and numerous other texts. The aim of this essay is to analyze Piana's study on the work of the italian poet Giovan-ni Pascoli and in particular on the relationship between aesthetic perception, imagination and sound material that emerges from Pascoli's poetry. Beyond being considered only a creative activity, the poetic production of this author represents for Piana the place of a true philosoph-ical reflection.
