Abstract

This article proposes a reading of Lacan’s work, particularly the Seminars of Jacques Lacan, through an examination of the question of the real insofar as it opens an n-space/time of the soul-a-third of a new kind, capable of exploring the most current foundational phenomenological questions from a renewed perspective. What emerges is undoubtedly Lacan as a phenomenologist: a Lacan who, drawing on analytical experience, grounds his theory at the very heart of his teaching through contemporary philosophical and phenomenological inquiries into matters such as the transcendental, the real and the self.
