Abstract

The third millennium has emerged and is growing amidst social mobilizations that are ceaselessly unfolding across the globe, highlighting the need for a paradigm shift. The Internet is the communication tool that amplifies, gives visibility to, and connects the multitude. The need for a new political model is pressing, especially as we observe ideology becoming just another consumer product. Leibniz’s principle of the best —which points to the concept of complexity— opens a path that we believe is worth exploring intellectually in our attempt to find a democratic alternative.
