Abstract
The present article exhibits the Adorn´s critic about Ilustration in terms of domination. Also it explains the Culture Industry and his consequences of homogenization. The exposition of Adorno is contrasted with Vattimo´s Debil Thought and the rol of Mass Media as guarantee of emancipation. Vattimo gives a new dimension to rationality: the paper of the hermeneutic reason as a weakening of old pretensions of absolute knowledge.
