Metaphysical aspect of the numinous in the choice of love in the philosophical-anthropological discourse of the XX-XXI centuries

Abstract

This paper analyzes the metaphysical aspect of the numinous existence of modern man in important worldview orientations, namely, the choice of love. Based on the work of K. Jung's “Answer to Job” to determine the meaning-making function and role of the numinous in the process of forming worldview concepts. To reveal the epistemological object “numinous” by means of modal analysis. The research is aimed at conceptualizing the integrity of man, based on the realization of one's own spirituality and the realization of the choice of love. The methodological foundations of the study are the concept of the numinous of R. Otto, the psychoanalytic approach of K. Jung, the concept of S. Kjerkegor on the levels of personality development: aesthetic, ethical, religious, and Christian-existential views on the existence of K. Jaspers.
