Abstract

The purpose of this article is to establish a narrow relationship among philosophy, democracy, education and freedom concerning the Spanish educational system. In Spain, the new Law of Education (Lomloe) has been a dissappoinment for not introducing deep changes for an education in liberty and democracy. This paper aims at the reinvention of Philosphy as a democratic narrative in education. In order to do so Philosophy must turn into a social philosophy following Dewy’s ideas for a social intelligence.
