Abstract

In the present paper, we analyze the time scales which articulate the bodies´ energies as well as the emotional production in the context of global capitalism. Neoliberalism which was developed in the 90s decade has imprinted some impressions and emotions which are configured as a form of emotional consumption while laying the foundations towards false happiness. We hold that the emotional consensus is given by a combination of happiness and terror which is regulated by global capitalism. The know-ledge production, as well as the productivity, is based on a cyclical timeframe that derives from the essence of risk. Having said this, the economic calculus remains as an attempt to control the terror waiting for a new society
