Abstract
This paper aims to contribute and to develop one of the main criticisms of the object-oriented ontology in its current formulation by Graham Harman which is a notion of time that, upon closer inspection, reduces the general theory inconsistent. While this is the case, Harman's notion of time can be adjusted in a way that leaves the framework of the object-oriented ontology intact. Although, this theory can already be found in Gilles Deleuze's Logic of Sense (2011). Much of this theory is already implicitly presupposed in Harman's ontology, and in this sense, we will see that the proposed modification effectively addresses the most prominent criticisms that have been articulated of Harman's notion of time.
