Abstract
It is a well known fact that the thought of Kant and, in particular, Hegel has seen a powerful revival in recent decades, as both are among the greatest and most influential figures in the history of philosophy. While Kant has been continuously and deeply studied —especially by neo-Kantian developments from the 19th century to present— the Hegelian resurgence is a far more recent phenomena. It is within this tendency of revisiting the fundamental grounds of the man - world relationship that the present research surfaces. This study aims to investigate a specific issue that, while present throughout philosophical history to varying degrees, becomes significantly more prominent in modernity: the problem of appearance. Given that Spanish-language scholarship on this subject is quite scarce, this work seeks to provide in such language a much-needed study within this branch of German Idealism.
