Abstract
This article focuses on the problems and issues derived from the analysis of the well-known Photograph 51. This analysis will lead us to deal with several approaches to the photograph, which could be considered the subject matter of study under the scope of varied disciplines ―sociology, gnoseology and gender studies. Taking the concept of symploké as basis for the purpose of my essay, the multiple connections and disconnections (internally and among these disciplines) will be developed.
