Symbolique et phénoménologique: Une distinction organisatrice dans l’architectonique de Marc Richir

Abstract

This article focuses on the significance of the diference between symbolic and henomenological dimensions, preset throughoutthe work of thephilosopherMarcRichir. The purpose isto clarify the meaningof these concepts,but also to show their usefulness, and even more, their necessity, beyond the strictly philosophical field, for any human science. It shows that beyond the already widely accepted difference between meaning and signification, it is also necessary to distinguish between two kinds of meaning both irreducible to the signification and yet different from one another: symbolic meaning and phenomenological meaning.
