Resumen
En este artículo sugerimos que es posible desarrollar un movimiento transhumanista marxista que supere el actual prisma individualista y pro- capitalista en el transhumanismo. Además, sugerimos que el transhumanismo puede servir para revitalizar el materialismo marxista en este siglo XXI y de cara al futuro. Afirmamos que el marxismo es, esencialmente, transhumanista en sus fundamentos, incluso cuando define al posthumano como hombre nuevo, u hombre hecho enpropiedad. Y podría incluso decirse que el transhumanismo, en esencia, es marxista. Presentamos una cartografía histórica de las relaciones de clase inherentes al desarrollo tecno- científico, y tratamos de mostrar el impacto ideológico que esas relaciones han causado en los transhumanistas. Describimos el actual transhumanismo como transcapitalismo, y analizamos las influencias teóricas sobre el mismo, proponiendo un itinerario teórico hacia el transhumanismo marxista, desde Marx a autores más contemporáneos, que podría pavimentar sus raíces políticas y filosóficas. Además definimos el transcapitalismo como BTA-político– anatomopolítico, tanatopolítico y biopolítico- en el sentido de Michel Foucault. Finalmente, proponemos que son precisamente las contradicciones inherentes al actual transcapitalismo lo que prepara el camino hacia la construcción del transhumanismo marxista.
