Resumen
Este artículo desarrolla cinco definiciones conceptuales del amor y la crítica de cada una de ellas: Dios, la guerra, la biología, el sexo, los sentimientos y la cultura. Se comentan textos de Lucrecio, Safo, Catulo, Propercio y Ovidio para entender este fenómeno universal; se proponen ejemplos tomados de películas y libros modernos para mostrar su relevancia actual; y se explorarán nuevos análisis psicológicos, biológicos y sociológicos sobre qué sea realmente enamorarse. Se propone trabajar en una definición concreta, siendo esta la mejor manera de entender un sentimiento supuestamente místico, mágico e intangible.
